Assist with developing and upgrading disaster recovery strategies and supporting plans that are consistent with business continuity objectives; Facilitate and coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery planning activities with designated organizations, third party service providers, vendors, and trade partners. This includes equipment strategy analysis, and interaction with infrastructure and disaster recovery service providers/vendors; Provide adequate information to the Enterprise Data Center Operations Management to ensure efficient impact analysis decisions. This includes disaster recovery plan overviews and IT crisis management procedures for critical IT and business locations; Facilitate disaster recovery training related to planning, testing, plan maintenance, and execution with appropriate parties; Operate a continuous measurement process and provide management reports based on predefined metrics; Regularly meet with the representatives throughout the enterprise. Interactions with all levels of staff are required for this position. Work closely with the IT Risk Management/Audit/Governance program office; Publish and review risks and findings identified after disaster recovery exercises. Ensure that strategic and tactical plans are identified, developed, maintained, and successfully tested for critical IT systems.
